Kathy Kinlaw is Interim Director at The John and Susan Wieland Center for Ethics at Emory University and Director of the Center's Program in Health Sciences and Ethics. She serves as Bioethics Associate in Pediatrics, Emory School of Medicine; and Executive Director of the Health Care Ethics Consortium of Georgia. Kathy is also a member of th CDC's Ethics Committee to the Advisory Council to the Director and a Board Member for the Georgia Composite Board of Medical Examiners.
She has co-directed the School of Medicine's required third-year course on Clinical Ethics since 1994 and is currently a core member of the committee restructuring the School of Medicine curriculum, with particular attention to integrating Ethics throughout the curriculum. Her publications and scholarly interests are primarily in the areas of: pallative and end of life care, ethics and medical education, perinatal and neonatal ethics, the work of ethics committees, and public health ethics.
Prior to joining the Center in 1990, Kathy completed a fellowship in perinatal ethics at the Department of Pediatrics, Emory School of Medicine. She obtained her Master of Divinity degree from Emory's Candler School of Theology, participated in the Washington Semester in Theology and Public Policy at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., and interned at the Office of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health.
Karen Trotochaud

Ms. Trotochaud is Senior Program Associate at The John and Susan Wieland Center for Ethics at Emory University working in the area of health care ethics, with a particular interest in end of life care, especially with children. She is also the Assistant Director for the Health Care Ethics Consortium of Georgia where she plans, coordinates and implements educational programming in the area of healthcare ethics for organizations and providers throughout Georgia. She is a frequent lecturer in the area of clinical and healthcare ethics, ethical committees, medical futility, and pediatric end of life care. Prior to joining the Center she had extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal nursing both in clinical and administrative roles.
Ms. Trotochaud received a BS in Nursing from Georgia State University, Master in Nursing from Emory University and a Master of Arts in Bioethics from Loyola University Chicago.

Ms. Osborne began working for The John and Susan Wieland Center for Ethics and the Health Care Ethics Consortium of Georgia in 1999.
Amy Russell
Budget Coordinator
Ms. Russell began working for The John and Susan Wieland Center for Ethics and HCECG in 2005, where she is responsible for the budgetary concerns for the Consortium and the Center for Ethics. Recently, Ms. Russell completed her M.B.A. degree.
